Donating Books to BIS

The Biblioteca Italiana Seattle prides itself on being the only independent community-driven library specializing in Italian language, literature, and history in North America. Our extensive collection, spanning over every imaginable genre and period, is made up entirely of donations and grants. We encourage donation of all relevant media, including but not limited to books, films, tapes, music, microfilm, negatives, and historical materials documenting the Italoamerican experience. Your donation to BIS is more than just a contribution to our catalogue - it provides free access of information to a vast community of students, researchers, genealogists, families, and posterity while remaining an environmentally responsible and eco-friendly alternative to a landfill.
