Italian Cultural Center - Il Punto!

Promoting Italian culture in Seattle and surrounding communities

Buona Pasqua !

The new Il Punto Board of Directors would like to extend its warmest wishes to our membership and the community for a healing, healthy and prosperous year ahead. The board has already had its first meeting and is energized to begin its work.

As we continue developing some of our existing programs, we will also be reaching out to our membership to learn more about what your interests and desires are for the coming year and beyond. We know the community is as ready as we are to get back to replenishing the vibrant spirit that the past year has so greatly tested. So, please stay tuned and stay in touch. Our best days as an organization are ahead of us and our members are at the heart and soul of all that we do. Thank you!

Biblioteca Italiana Seattle (BIS)

Il Punto has recently moved its biblioteca to Burien. It is now located inside the Casa Italiana building. BIS will remain a program under the Italian Cultural Center - Il Punto. We hope the new location will give more people in the greater Seattle area access to this one-of-a-kind collection.

Volunteers are currently unboxing and re-shelving books and the Biblioteca Italiana will be re-opening in the near future. Book, music and film donations are still being accepted. Please visit the BIS page for more information.

Casa Italiana Update

The Il Punto Board of Directors has established a Casa Committee to work with members of the Casa Italiana Board of Directors to further define our relationship and understand how we can work in parallel toward the betterment of the Italian and Italian-American communities. The new facility in Burien offers many great prospects. We invite questions and comments from our membership as to how we can contribute to the success of the new facility. In the near future, Il Punto will be distributing a survey to collect your ideas and thoughts. Il Punto's contact address for its main headquarters will remain in Seattle until further notice. Donations by check can be sent to: Italian Cultural Center - Il Punto, Box 30674, Seattle, WA 98113. For donations by credit card please visit our Donate page.
